Last month's poll: Multimedia in Instruction
Last month 68% of respondents said they are using multimedia in library instruction. Of those, 76% are showing videos or click-through tutorials in the session, and 61% ask students to take a tutorial or quiz on their own during the class; only 14% asked students to view multimedia prior to the session. The most important criteria were that videos be short and to the point (92%); inexpensive or free (84%); come from an authoritative source (84%); and feel contemporary (76%). For those who don’t use multimedia, the main factors were a lack of time in the sessions and the challenge of finding or creating quality multimedia.

Then show them how Credo makes this easy by allowing users to export entries and Topic Pages directly to their Google Drive account (personal or institutional).
