Most Friday mornings, everyone at Credo Reference gathers in our large conference room for what we like to call a “Breakfast & Learn”. These meetings give everyone at the company a chance to present something of interest to their colleagues, and for everyone to learn something about what the people a few cubicles over are currently working on. An important feature of the Breakfast & Learn meetings is the bagels and cream cheese that provided to everyone who shows up on time to grab one.
This week, Nancy and Heather gave us a rough draft of the presentation that they will be making on Monday, 1/26/09 at the Midwinter ALA Technology Showcase, entitled “What we learned from Craigslist”. Their presentation will talk about the site re-design that we launched last summer, and will talk about some of the things that inspired it, including principles of design and other websites.
