Four Encyclopedias from Springer
Additions include medical, political science and sociology titles
Boston and Oxford, (September 22, 2009) – Credo Reference, the award winning online reference library, recently signed an agreement to integrate four key Springer Science+Business Media encyclopedias into the Credo General Reference collection.
With a focus on science, technology, medicine, architecture, business and transport, Springer Science+Business Media publishes books, journals and internet products for the global academic and professional markets. The full-text, aggregated, high-quality content of four important Springer reference works will now be integrated into Credo Reference’s award-winning platform:
• The Encyclopedia of Medical Anthropology –delineating the cultural practices relevant to health in the world’s cultures, providing an overview of important topics in medical anthropology.
• The Encyclopedia of Public Choice – detailing the intersection of economics and political science.
• Encyclopedia of Sex and Gender – exploring issues involving conceptions of gender, gender differences, gender roles, relationships between the genders and sexuality.
• The Encyclopedia of Women’s Health – covering current health issues and health-care realities that today’s women face.
